Hi

Well, finally the day came yesterday 11 March.    Very hot - about 32 degrees most of the way - with just a small breeze to cool us down.  Was a good race - though many riders were overcome by the heat - and managed to finish in just over 6 hours.  Many thanks to all of you who helped to sponsor me and Breadline.  We raised R 4,650 which is very close to our target of R 5000 !

Every Rand we raised will be used in our container project.  To change old shipping containers into soup kitchens, classrooms, libraries, toilets.  Whatever is needed. See how we do it on www.breadlineafrica.org.za
